This effective pheromone trap, which can either be hung or preferably placed in storage areas or near items at risk. In a temperature around 15-18°C, the male moth will fly in search of a mate and will be attracted by the pheromone lure in the trap. Thus, the male moths will be removed from the breeding cycle. The impregnated pheromone will work for up to 3 months.
One advantage of this type of trap is that it provides a very visible statement of whether you have a problem, and the scale of the problem. Unfortunately, there can be multiple generations each year depending on external climate and other factors such as central heating.
A single trap can be used for single, confined spaces such as wardrobes but, for larger areas, a minimum of one trap per 10 m² should be used.
